Hesse promotes cycling

This is because there are more than 15,000 kilometres of cycling network for cyclists in the towns and municipalities of Hesse, with long-distance cycle paths alone measuring 3,300 kilometres. The State of Hesse is investing in the construction of new cycle paths on Germany's federal and state roads. It promotes the construction of municipal cycle paths and thus makes a significant contribution to improving mobility in the local area.
