- Determination of disabilities according to the law on severely disabled persons (SGB IX) including compensation for disadvantages (mark)
- Issuance and renewal of disability passes
- Determination of the conditions for the free transport of severely disabled persons in public passenger transport and/or the exemption/reduction from motor vehicle tax and issue of corresponding supplementary sheets

Das Landesamt für Soziales, Jugend und Familie - Außenstelle Oldenburg - ist entstanden durch die Auflösung des Versorgungsamtes Oldenburg. Wir sind zuständig für die Feststellung der Schwerbehinderteneigenschaft und der Nachteilsausgleiche nach dem Neunten Buch Sozialgesetzbuch (SGB IX). Das in der Außenstelle Oldenburg angesiedelte Integrationsamt ist im Bereich Weser-Ems zuständig für den besonderen Kündigungsschutz schwerbehinderter Menschen und der Gewährung finanzieller Leistungen aus der Ausgleichsabgabe. Im Bereich des Sozialen Entschädigungsrechts erfolgt die Kriegsopferversorgung für Kriegsbeschädigte und Hinterbliebene nach dem Bundesversorgungsgesetz (BVG) und im Rahmen der Anhanggesetze werden Leistungen nach dem Opferentschädigungsgesetz (OEG), Zivildienstgesetz (ZDG), Infektionsschutzgesetz (IfSG), Strafrechtlichen Rehabilitierungsgesetz (StrRehaG), Verwaltungsrechtlichen Rehabilitierungsgesetz (VwRehaG) und dem Häftlingshilfegesetz (HHG) gewährt.
