Driving instructor system; application for recognition as a provider of introductory seminars for course leaders of instruction courses (for seminar authorization for advanced seminars)
Description
In order to be granted the advanced seminar permit, a driving instructor must, among other things, take part in an introductory course comprising a four-day basic course and a four-day program-specific course.
In order to be authorized to lead the instruction courses for applicants for the advanced seminar permit, an introductory seminar for course leaders must be attended.
The providers of these seminars must be recognized by the government of the Upper Palatinate.

Prerequisites
Recognition as a provider of introductory seminars for course leaders of instruction courses (advanced seminar) is granted if
- an appropriate seminar plan is submitted which complies with the requirements of § 13 DV-FahrlG,
- suitable instructors are available who are able to impart the required knowledge and skills,
- the necessary teaching materials and classrooms are available,
- there are no concerns about the applicant's reliability.

Procedure
The application must be submitted to the Government of Upper Palatinate in writing or electronically (by e-mail).
The Government of Upper Palatinate may use suitable persons or bodies for the scientific assessment of the training program.
If the requirements are met, official recognition will be granted in the form of a notification.
The other governments will receive a copy of the decision.

Expenses (e.g. for experts) are charged in accordance with the scale of fees for road traffic measures (GebOSt).
