Healthcare profession; application for a duplicate of a certificate or document

• Permission to use the professional title:
  • Copy of identity card
  • Certificate of good conduct for submission to authorities

In order to issue a duplicate of the license to use the professional title in a healthcare profession, the conditions required for the initial issue must still be met:

Qualification

You have fully completed your vocational training.

If you have not been trained in accordance with the law applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany,

• the equivalence of your level of training or knowledge according to the German training and examination regulations applicable to the respective profession is generally required
• Good knowledge of the German language

reliability

You have not been guilty of any behavior that would make you unreliable to practice the profession.

Health suitability

You are medically fit to practise the profession.

The application for a duplicate must be submitted in writing to the relevant government. If the documents are complete and have been checked, the duplicate of the certificate and/or certificate can be issued by the government.

The costs range from 15 to 40 EUR.
