Offers for support in everyday life; applying for funding

Everyday support services are intended to provide hourly relief for people in need of care as well as caregiving relatives. Providers of recognized offers for support in everyday life can receive a grant as part of project funding.

    Description

    Purpose

Through offers for support in everyday life, there is an additional range of services for people in need of care at home from care level 1. Up to 131 euros per month can be used as a standardized relief amount for quality-assured care and relief services. The aim is to relieve the person in need of care themselves in their everyday life as well as caregiving relatives and similarly close persons from the burden of care and the associated physical and emotional stress.

The purpose of the funding is to promote the establishment and expansion of services to provide support in everyday life. In particular, this is intended to create appropriate care and respite services as well as participation opportunities for people in need of care and opportunities to relieve the burden on family caregivers and similarly close relatives.

    Recipients of funding

Applications may be submitted by providers of recognized support services for everyday life.

    Eligible costs

Funding is primarily provided for personnel and material costs arising from the coordination and organization of assistance and professional guidance, training and further training as well as continuous professional supervision and support by specialists, as well as allowances for volunteer care.

    Type and amount

The grant is provided as fixed-amount funding within the framework of project funding. Funding is provided at flat rates depending on the service, as specified in more detail in the notes on the implementation of AVSG Part 8 Sections 5 to 8.

Everyday support services are funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care together with the National Association of Long-Term Care Insurance Funds.
