District and municipal treasury; information on cash transactions

The district treasury handles the cash transactions of the district, the municipal treasury handles the cash transactions of the municipality.

Cashier's duties include accepting deposits and making disbursements, managing cash funds, safekeeping valuables, bookkeeping including the collection of receipts, unless another body has been commissioned to do so.

The cash office is also responsible for issuing reminders, enforcement and the determination, deferral, deferral and waiver of reminder fees, enforcement costs and ancillary claims (interest and late payment penalties), unless otherwise specified or another office has been commissioned to do so.
