Municipal power supply; adoption of user regulations

Municipalities can issue user regulations for the use of municipal facilities if these are governed by public law. This also applies to the electricity supply operated by a municipality.

If the local authority operates the electricity supply in a private legal form (e.g. as a limited company), usage regulations are replaced by terms of use under private law (usually as general terms and conditions).
