Verification; notification of the use of new or renewed measuring instruments
The obligation to notify new measuring devices in accordance with Section 32 MessEG has been lifted since 01.01.2025.
Description
The Fourth Bureaucracy Relief Act abolishes the notification requirement under Section 32 of the German Measurement and Verification Act (MessEG). Since January 1, 2025, users no longer have to notify new measuring devices. This does not affect the calibration obligation for measuring devices.
