Food chemist; application for recognition of professional qualification

To practice the profession of "State-certified food chemist" and in Germany as a national of an EU/EEA member state or a third country, you need recognition of the training you have acquired abroad.

In order to exercise the profession of "State-certified food chemist", nationals of a member state of the European Union and a third country require recognition of the training acquired abroad. The government of Upper Bavaria is responsible for the recognition procedure throughout Bavaria.

• Proof of citizenship

  in certified copy and translation by a translator publicly appointed and sworn in the Federal Republic of Germany

• Evidence of formal qualifications (diploma, certificate, evidence of completion of studies, other evidence of formal qualifications) and professional experience

  in certified copy and translation by a translator publicly appointed and sworn in the Federal Republic of Germany
