List of external companies; application for registration with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects

Foreign companies may use the professional titles "architect", "interior architect", "landscape architect" and "urban planner" if they are authorized to do so under the law of their country of origin. Foreign companies that are not entered in a register of companies in the Federal Republic of Germany must give prior notification of the first provision of services. They are listed in a separate register.

The registration committee at the Bavarian Chamber of Architects decides on entry in the relevant register.

• Proof of sufficient professional liability insurance
• Memorandum or Articles of Association
• Proof of registration in/at the commercial or partnership register

• authorization under the law of the home state to use the professional title in the name of the company
• Sufficient professional liability insurance
• Provisions in the articles of association or statutes, etc.
  • The object of the company is to perform the professional tasks of architects, interior designers, landscape architects or urban planners,

• for the applicant: none; notification of first-time provision of the service before commencement of the activity
• for the authority: three months after receipt of the application and complete submission of the documents
