Municipal cemetery; application for authorization for commercial activity

As part of its right to local self-administration, each municipality can regulate whether or which permits or notifications are required for commercial activities at the cemetery in the user statutes for its cemetery.

The activities of morticians, stonemasons and other tradespeople in the municipal cemetery may require prior approval from the municipality. You can obtain specific information on the permits or notifications that may be required from the respective municipality or the single point of contact responsible for you.

They will also be able to tell you what the specific licensing requirements are (e.g. expertise, suitability, reliability), how the procedure is handled, what evidence is required and what costs may be incurred.
