Company register; application for registration of a partnership or other partnership with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects

The protected professional titles "architect", "landscape architect", "interior architect" or "urban planner" may only be used if they are entered in the register of companies at the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.

The registration of a partnership (with limited professional liability) or other partnerships in the company register is required in order to use the protected professional titles "architect", "landscape architect", "interior architect" or "urban planner" as well as word combinations thereof and similar designations.

• The following documents are required:
  • articles of association
  • Proof of registration in the commercial or partnership register
  • Proof of sufficient professional liability insurance
  • Advance payment of fees (proof)

• registered office or branch in Bavaria
• Sufficient professional liability insurance
• Regulations in the articles of association, etc.
  • The object of the company is the performance of professional tasks by architects, interior designers, landscape architects or urban planners,
  • Management of the company by members of the Chamber of Architects

The application must be submitted exclusively online to the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.

You will be kept informed about the processing status and any documents that may be required.

The registration committee at the Bavarian Chamber of Architects examines and decides on the entry in the register of companies.
