Child daycare; notification of childcare without an operating license

Operators of a childcare facility require an operating license if children are cared for all or part of the day. A permit is not required for childcare services up to a maximum of 10 hours per week or if the individual child is not cared for more than 5 hours per week. However, these childcare services must be registered with the local youth welfare office.
