Description
To ensure the quality of training, training as a housekeeper may only be carried out in recognized training centers.
Recognition in accordance with the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) is granted by the responsible government.

Prerequisites
Recognition in accordance with Section 27 (3) and (4) of the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) is granted if the following company requirements are met:
- The training facility may be a social institution, a commercially oriented domestic service company or a private household which, in terms of its facilities and state of management, offers the prerequisites for the trainees to be taught the knowledge, skills and abilities required in the training regulations.
- Continuous supervision of the trainee must be guaranteed.
- A company is unsuitable as a training facility if bankruptcy or composition proceedings have been initiated against the owner's assets.
- The number of training places must be appropriate (§ 27 BBiG para. 1 sentence 2).
- If the trainee is accepted into the domestic community, accommodation must be provided that is up-to-date in terms of equipment and furnishings.
- There must be no moral or ethical risk to the trainees.
- The trainee must be provided with a suitable workplace for written work.
- Trainees should have access to various up-to-date sources of information and be given an insight into company documents relevant to their training.
- The teaching of the training content must be ensured (§ 27 BBiG para. 2).
- As a rule, the household should be able to cover all areas of work. Otherwise, suitable measures must be taken to ensure that all training content is taught.
- It must be ensured that the provisions of the Youth Employment Protection Act and other regulations for the protection of trainees are complied with.
- The valid training regulations and examination regulations as well as collective agreement regulations, insofar as they apply to the training company, must at least be made available for inspection or handed out.
- Housekeeping should be carried out in accordance with economic, ecological and hygienic aspects.
- Occupational safety regulations must be complied with.
- Attention must be paid to quality assurance measures and customer orientation.
- The organization of the house and festivities as well as community life should be practiced in accordance with our culture.
- The household/business must keep accounting records.
- Planning documents for parts of the household/business must be available.
- The household/enterprise must be equipped and furnished in such a way as to ensure that all training content can be taught, i.e.
- The work centers must be arranged, furnished and equipped in accordance with labor management aspects so that a workplace design suitable for training is possible.
- The work areas should be dimensioned in such a way that the trainer and trainees can work simultaneously without disruption.
- The technical equipment should be up-to-date and adapted to the workload.
- Organizational facilities must be available for each work area and the principles of organization must be taken into account.

Companies interested in recognition as a training center are requested to contact the local Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry or Department 61 of the responsible government in advance.
You will receive a compilation of the required documents and the application form from the responsible government after a consultation.
Deadlines
Recognition as a training center must be applied for in good time before the start of the first training relationship.
