Vocational training for housekeepers; application for registration of the vocational training contract

Training centers must apply to the competent government for the vocational training contract to be entered in the register of vocational training relationships.

Anyone who employs other persons for vocational training (training provider) must conclude a vocational training contract with the trainees.

Once the contract has been concluded, the training provider (training center) must apply for the vocational training contract to be entered in the register of vocational training relationships.

In order to be able to conclude a training contract, your company must already be recognized for the training occupation of housekeeper.

In addition, a person in your company must already be registered as a trainer for the training occupation of housekeeper.

The application for registration with the responsible government is made by the training company (training center).

The training company creates the training contract online in the computerized vocational training system. The access link to the vocational training system (BBS) for training companies and trainers can be found under "Further links". If you have any questions, please contact your responsible education advisor at the local Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry.

After accessing the BBS application, brief instructions on the portal and on completing and submitting the vocational training contract can be found in the menu item 'Help' under "11- External users".

The application for registration must be made immediately after the conclusion of the vocational training contract, but at the latest before the start of the vocational training relationship.

A fee of EUR 30 is charged for the entry of the vocational training contract in the register of vocational training relationships.

• The following documents are required:
  • last certificate from the general school
  • If applicable, medical certificate of the initial examination in accordance with the Youth Employment Protection Act (only for minors at the time the contract is concluded)
  • If applicable, examination certificate for first occupation when applying to shorten the apprenticeship period
