Craft card; receipt

The Chamber of Skilled Crafts issues a certificate in the form of a skilled crafts card upon entry in the skilled crafts register.

The Chamber of Skilled Crafts must issue a certificate of registration in the register of skilled crafts (skilled crafts card).

The following are entered in the craftsman's card

• the name and address of the owner of a business in a craft requiring a license,
• the place of business,
• the craft requiring a license to be practiced and
• in the case of several trades requiring a license, these trades and
• the date of entry in the register of craftsmen.

You can use the craftsman's card to legitimize yourself as a registered craftsman's business.

The issuance of the craftsman's card requires registration in the register of craftsmen. This means that you - or a company manager employed by you - must meet the personal requirements for entry in the register of craftsmen.

Registration takes place upon application by the business owner to the relevant Chamber of Skilled Crafts. Further information on applying for entry in the Register of Craftsmen can be found under "Related topics".

You will receive a craftsman's card as proof of your successful entry in the register of craftsmen. You do not need to apply for the craftsman's card.
