National coat of arms; application for authorization to use it

You may use the large and small Bavarian coat of arms without permission for artistic, craft or scientific purposes. The coats of arms may also be used for educational purposes and in the context of civic education. Permission for other purposes can only be granted in exceptional cases with special justification.

The government of Upper Franconia decides on applications for permission to use the coat of arms. Applications must be submitted informally.
