Prerequisites
A permit or exemption may only be issued if certain conditions are met, e.g:
- Transportation of an indivisible load,
- transportation by rail or water is not possible,
- suitable route available.
Procedure
A permit or exemption is issued following a written application. Applications can be submitted by fax, e-mail or online via the national procedure management system for oversized and heavy goods transport (VEMAGS).
