Apply for specialist and special cards according to individual customer requirements (farm and hunting cards or others)

The geodata management of the LGLN offers the service of producing and providing various special maps according to individual customer requirements.

In addition to the topographical state map series and general maps of Lower Saxony, the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying (LGLN) offers various specialized maps or special maps.

These are divided into thematic maps with a regional reference, such as

• Farm and hunting maps,
• local maps and touring maps, as well as thematic maps with a scientific approach, which also offer laypersons the opportunity to explore interesting current or historical objects.

These special maps, for example farm or hunting maps, can be requested from the LGLN or the local land registry office.

Special maps can be used as a working basis or overview map for farmers or hunters, but also as an individual overview of land ownership or leased land. Farm maps show the farmed areas and the location of a farm in a detailed and appealing way. Hunting maps show the perimeter of a hunting district.

Farm and hunting maps can be individually designed so that owned and leased areas or hunting districts can be colored according to customer requirements. Special features, such as a specific map title or a family coat of arms, can be displayed on request.

All maps and data can also be requested in digital form.

The scale and map format are determined individually and depend on the total area to be mapped and the specific requirements.

The indication/representation of property areas is subject to data protection (personal data) and can only be requested by an authorized group of persons (property owners, authorized users, persons with other legitimate interests).

The card is designed according to the individual wishes of the applicant. This may result in consultations during processing.

Depending on the level of specification, the creation or processing time for an individual specialist or special map can take up to 2 weeks.

The costs vary depending on the work involved. A cost estimate of the order is made before the final application is submitted. The final costs can only be determined in the public service notification.
