Description
If you would like to work abroad in an academic or non-academic healthcare profession, you will generally need proof of your qualifications (proof of training). You will also need a certificate of good standing. This confirms that you are authorized to practice your profession without restriction. The certificate also shows that no professional or disciplinary measures have been taken or initiated against you.
You can obtain a certificate of good standing from the competent authority in the federal state in which you practise or last practised your profession.

Legal remedy
If you wish to lodge an appeal against the decision, the appeal period of one month after notification of the decision must be observed.

You submit an application for a clearance certificate to the competent authority.

The competent authority will then check whether your training corresponds to the German training and whether all other requirements for issuing the clearance certificate have been met.
