• You can receive the annual grant as an author if you have at least one publication in a recognized publishing house (not self-published and not paid-for).
• You can receive the annual grant if your project has a connection to Lower Saxony or if you live or work in Lower Saxony.
• The scholarship can only be awarded for a high-ranking literary project whose texts are as yet unpublished.
• Applications for projects that have already been rejected in a previous year can only be considered again after a thorough revision.
• An annual scholarship will not be awarded if you receive regular benefits from third parties (e.g. residence or work grants) or other support from the state in the field of literature during the year 2024.
• In the event of funding, you agree to present the results of the planned project at an event financed by the state's cultural funding as part of the scholarship. You are not entitled to participate in such an event.
