As an employer, do you need support to maintain the jobs of severely disabled employees or employees with equivalent status or to create new jobs or training positions?
Then you have the following options:
- You can obtain advice from the relevant office.
- You apply for financial benefits.
You can apply for the following benefits:
- Compensation for extraordinary burdens for employers, for example an employment protection grant
- Disability-friendly furnishing or equipping of work and training places and the working environment
- Investments to create a new job or training position
- Premiums for the introduction of company integration management (BEM)
- Premiums and subsidies for the costs of vocational training
- Other measures for disability-friendly employment, such as qualification measures
The responsible body determines the scope of support individually and depending on the service required.

- You would like to apply for benefits for a severely disabled person or a person with equivalent status or
- You would like to request advice on the employment or support of severely disabled persons or persons with equivalent status.
The person on whose behalf you are applying for the benefits must be in an employment relationship subject to social security contributions or in a civil service relationship of at least 15 hours/week.
The person for whom you are applying for benefits must be severely disabled or treated as such within the meaning of SGB IX.
