Organization of a weekly market Determination
Description
If a weekly market is organized, a so-called determination by the competent authority is required if the so-called market privileges are sought for this event (e.g. exemption from restrictions on the right to open stores, exemption from the provisions of the trade regulations on the standing and itinerant trade, relaxation of working time regulations, especially on Sundays and public holidays, and certain restrictions on youth employment protection law).
Approval authorizes the holding of the respective event. In the case of the establishment of a weekly market, the establishment obliges the organizer to hold the event.
The designation regulates the subject matter, location, time and opening hours of the events concerned.
Information on the possibility of scheduling several events at the same time or one event on a permanent basis is available from the competent authority.
