Journeyman's examination Part I: Admission
Anyone completing vocational training with an extended journeyman's examination requires separate admission for part 1 of the journeyman's examination.
Description
If you complete vocational training with a "stretched journeyman's examination" (journeyman's examination in two parts that fall apart in time), you need a separate admission for Part 1.
In order to be admitted to Part 1 of the journeyman's examination, you must:
- who have completed the required period of training prescribed in the training regulations,
- have kept evidence of formal qualifications and, if necessary, have passed prescribed intermediate examinations,
- register for the exam or be registered by your instructor.
In addition, your vocational training relationship must be entered in the apprentice register. This does not apply if the entry is missing for a reason for which neither the apprentice (trainee) nor his legal representative is responsible.
The chairman of the examination board decides on admission to the journeyman's examination. If he does not consider the admission requirements to be met, the examination board decides.
Under certain circumstances, e.g. in the case of a shortened apprenticeship period, it may be the case that both parts of the journeyman's examination are carried out together at the end of the training period.
