District Council Election: Determination of Grounds for Exclusion
If you accept a mandate in the district council, you may not carry out an activity that is incompatible with this mandate.
Description
If you are a civil servant or an employee of the district administration, you may not become a member of the district council.
Even as a civil servant or employee of the state working for the district administration, you cannot belong to the district council at the same time.

Procedure
The chairman of the district election committee notifies the elected members and asks them to declare in writing within one week of delivery of the notification whether they accept the election.
If you are elected and there is an incompatibility of office and mandate, you will be informed in the notification that you can only accept the mandate under certain conditions. For example, you can only accept the election if you can prove that you have terminated your service or employment relationship or that you have taken a leave of absence from your service or employment relationship without remuneration. The election is considered rejected if you have not provided this proof by the deadline.
