Description
The tasks of school supervision in Rhineland-Palatinate are carried out by the Supervisory and Service Directorate.
The tasks of school supervision include
- Professional supervision of teaching and education in schools
- Supervision of teachers and staff with special educational responsibilities
- Legal supervision of the districts and independent cities as school authorities
- Exercise of approval and decision-making powers
- Supervision of the school psychological service
- Technical supervision of the administrative districts and independent cities as responsible bodies for school development planning
