Issue volunteer card
Description
Above-average volunteer citizens can apply for a nationwide volunteer card. This means that they can take advantage of all the benefits provided by the state, the participating municipalities and private partners throughout the country.
Contact point
If you want a volunteer card, you must fill out an application and have it confirmed by the association or organization for which you work on a voluntary basis as well as by the municipality. The application must then be forwarded to the Volunteering and Citizen Participation Control Centre of the State Chancellery for the issuance of a volunteer card.

Prerequisites
- Voluntary work of at least 5 hours per week or 250 hours per year
- Minimum age 14 years
- No payment; the reimbursement of expenses actually incurred is permissible.
Deadlines
The volunteer card is valid for two years and can then be applied for again.

There are no fees.
