Requesting information from the population register for groups

You would like to receive information about several persons (group information)? Then this must be in the public interest.

You will only receive information from the civil register about a large number of persons who are not named (group information) if this is in the public interest.

You can freely compile the groups of persons with selected data. The following are available to you for this purpose:

• Date of birth,
• gender
• current nationality,
• current addresses,
• date of moving in and out, and
• Marital status with the indication whether single, married, divorced, widowed, living in a civil partnership, civil partnership terminated or civil partner deceased.

In addition to the membership of the group you have compiled, you may be informed of your first name and surname, doctoral degree, age, gender, nationality, current addresses and legal representatives with first name and surname as well as address.

Registration office of the place of residence of the person sought

The information must be in the national public interest. This is understood to mean the interest of the general public, which must be distinguished from the interest of individual persons or groups.

Information can be requested informally in writing or in person.

• Information up to 100 inhabitants: 150,00 Euro
• Information 101 -200 inhabitants: 300,00 Euro
• Information on each additional inhabitant over 200: 0,50 Euro
• Information about each further inhabitant over 1000: 0,15 Euro
• Information about each inhabitant over 10.000: 0,05 Euro
