Landlord confirmation
If you have moved, you will need a confirmation from your landlord to register your new place of residence.
Description
As of November 1, 2015, the landlord must again cooperate with the registration at the registration office. Therefore, every person subject to registration must be issued with a landlord's confirmation of residence so that they can comply with their legal obligation to register within two weeks of moving in. When registering the new place of residence, this landlord's confirmation of residence must be presented to the registration office (the tenancy agreement is not sufficient). If the person subject to the registration obligation moves into their own property, a self-declaration must be submitted when registering. The move-out must only be confirmed by the landlord if the person is moving abroad or leaving one of several apartments (e.g. a secondary residence).
The landlord's confirmation of residence must be submitted with every registration, de-registration or re-registration.
