The annual tax rates for keeping:
- one dog: 90,00 Euro
- two dogs per dog: 108,00 Euro
- three or more dogs per dog: 127.00 euros
- one dangerous dog: 645.00 euros
- two or more dangerous dogs per dog: 805.00 euros.
The tax is levied on the keeping of dogs in the city area. All dogs in a household are deemed to be owned jointly by their owners. The dog must be registered and deregistered within two weeks. Registration begins on the 1st of the month in which the dog is taken in. The tax liability ends at the end of the month in which the dog is sold or otherwise disposed of, lost or lost. The dog tax stamp must be returned for deregistration.
After registration, the dog tag will be sent together with the notification of fees!
When deregistering, we require the dog tag and proof of the whereabouts of the animal.
When moving to Werl, the dog must be deregistered at the old place of residence.
