Point of Single Contact Hesse (EAH)

The Point of Single Contact (PSP) is the central intermediary between the public administration and the (foreign) service provider.

You can carry out all the procedures and formalities necessary for the commencement and exercise of your service through the Point of Single Contact. The prerequisite for this is that this service falls within the scope of Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12.12.2006 (EC Services Directive).

The Point of Single Contact receives your application documents and forwards them to the authorities responsible for your intended service activity. The Point of Single Contact will take over the further coordination of your project for you. The EAH receives the notices issued by the competent authorities and forwards them to you.

You can make use of this service if you want to provide a service independently and economically in Germany.

In Hesse, the regional councils of Kassel, Giessen, and Darmstadt have been assigned the task of point of single contact. Contact the respective regional council in whose area of responsibility the registered office of your branch is/should be located.

You can submit your application via the service platform (of the state of Hesse).
You can also contact the Point of Single Contact in person, by telephone, fax or e-mail.

A separate platform has been developed for the online application. On the so-called service platform, you can submit your applications electronically and much more! You are welcome to get your own picture of the application in advance without having to register beforehand. Use the simulation for this. In order to take full advantage of the online application process, you must first register with the online application process.

The authorities should decide on your application within 3 months, provided that you have submitted all the necessary documents.

The service of the Point of Single Contact is usually free of charge. Costs are incurred only in exceptional cases in complex procedures with greater administrative effort.
