Retail sale of toxic and very toxic substances, permit

To operate a retail business with toxic or very toxic substances, you need a permit.
Permission can be granted to a single person (sole proprietorship) or to a corporation. In the case of a partnership, the individual personally liable partners each receive permission.

The prerequisite is that you can prove the necessary expertise, have the required reliability and are at least 18 years old. For the granting of a permit, it is necessary that persons belonging to the company who meet these requirements are available in each permanent establishment. With regard to reliability, the licensing authority checks the existence of previous convictions and abnormalities due to violence.

Distributors who supply the substances only to resellers, professional users or public research, testing or educational establishments only have to notify the licensing authority in writing of the first placing on the market of these substances. The notification must name at least one person who fulfils the above requirements. A change of this person must be reported to the authority.
