Description
The country sells to private properties that are no longer needed to fulfill land purposes and are therefore dispensable for the land.
Real estate that accrues to the land from inheritances because there are no other heirs or the heirs renounce the inheritance are also sold.
Other items that fall to the state from inheritances, such as crockery, jewellery or even motor vehicles, are auctioned off by the Hessian tax offices; in addition, the tax offices also auction items seized by way of enforcement.
