Pass for low-income earners

Socially disadvantaged people can purchase a discounted ticket for public transport.

If you only have a low income, you can obtain a "Pass for low-income earners" (e.g. "Frankfurt Pass") in your city or municipality or possibly in your district. With the help of this pass, you get free or discounted admission to various municipal public facilities and events.

The prerequisite is that such a passport is offered at your place of residence. This is a voluntary municipal service.

Please inquire at the social welfare office of your city or district or at your municipal administration. There you will learn,

• whether there is a pass for low-income earners,
• which income limits apply to it,
  
• which proofs you have to keep or which documents you have to bring.
