Sewage fee

Sewage charges and wastewater contributions are levied on the basis of municipal statutes. The altitude varies locally.

With the wastewater contribution, you as the property owner pay a one-time share of the costs for the construction or improvement of the entire facilities of the municipality or the wastewater association.

The wastewater fee is to be paid continuously for the service provided (discharge and purification of the wastewater). It concerns the costs of disposing of waste water and rainwater.

There are volume fees and basic fees.
The yardstick for the quantity fee is drinking water consumption. If the wastewater fee is split into a wastewater and a rainwater fee under statutory law, the rainwater fee is essentially calculated according to the sealed land area. In addition, many associations charge a basic fee to cover consumption-independent costs.
