Applying for permission to organize or hold a prostitution event

Would you like to run prostitution events commercially? You need a permit for this.

If you want to organize a prostitution event for an open group of participants, you need a permit. This includes events where at least one of the people present offers sexual services in return for payment. This is the case, for example, when making pornographic films in public.

You can apply for a one-off permit or a permit for several similar events.

The competent authority may attach certain conditions or requirements to the permit.

If you wish to operate your prostitution business through a proxy, you will also require a proxy permit.

Please note that other permits may be required in addition to the permit for the prostitution business or may be subject to registration. This applies in particular to the following legal areas:

• Restaurant law
• trade law
• building law
• water law
• Immission control law

Sole proprietorship (natural person):

• Identity card, passport, electronic residence permit if applicable
• Operating concept
• Certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority according to document type "0", or European certificate of good conduct

Companies (legal entities) for example. Limited liability company (GmbH):

• Current excerpt from the commercial register / register of cooperatives
• Operating concept
• Identity card, passport, electronic residence permit for legal representation if applicable
• Certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority according to document type "0" for legal representation, or European certificate of good conduct

• They have undergone a background check by the competent authority.
• The rooms used for the prostitution events meet the minimum requirements for production facilities, for example in the areas of safety and hygiene.
