Apply for funding for projects to promote the acceptance of sexual orientations and gender identities

Would you like to apply for funding for projects that aim to increase the visibility of sexual and gender diversity in rural areas in Hesse? Then you can find out how to proceed here.

    Description

The Hessian Action Plan for Acceptance and Diversity aims to ensure that all people in Hesse can live their sexual orientation and gender identity openly and without fear of discrimination. It makes an important contribution to the realization of democratic rights, the free development of the personality and the appreciation of social diversity.

The "APAV Mini" call is aimed in particular at smaller organizations with little or no experience in applying for and implementing projects (e.g. with federal or European Union funding programmes). We are therefore primarily looking for creative and innovative project proposals with a regionally limited scope. The project objectives include strengthening the visibility of sexual and gender diversity in rural areas in Hesse.

Eligible to apply are districts, independent cities and special status cities, municipal associations, municipalities, associations, institutes, universities and colleges as well as independent and other legally responsible organizations that are interested in working with or in community-based structures and services.

Further information can be found in the applicable technical and funding principles and on the homepage of the Darmstadt Regional Council.
