Request a change to the pavement crossing

Your property access road needs a change? This must be applied for at the competent road construction authority.   

You are the owner of a plot of land within the locality. There is already a driveway to your property to access your garage or parking space from the street with a motor vehicle. This is now to be changed. This must be applied for at the competent road construction authority.

As a rule, curb lowering or other adjustments to the road are changed by the competent road construction authority itself or by a company commissioned by it. In exceptional cases, these can also be made by a company commissioned by the resident himself with the consent of the responsible road construction authority. Your city or municipality will provide you with information on this.

All costs for the changes to the road must be borne by you. This also applies to administrative costs, which may be determined by the competent road construction authority.

You apply for the structural modification of the road with all the necessary documents to the responsible road construction authority. Once the application has been submitted, it will be checked whether the application is complete. If required documents are still missing, you will receive a notification from the competent authority. An on-site appointment may also be necessary. It will then be examined whether there are reasons not to change the road. After reviewing your application, you will receive a decision.

The processing time of the application and the structural changes to the road depend on the individual case.

The administrative costs and the cost of modifications depend on the size and nature of the changes to the public road. They will be communicated to you by the competent road construction authority.
