    If you wish to convert your third-country licenses into a European license, you must apply to the competent authority.

    • Proof of identity (identity card or passport)
    • Valid third country license issued according to ICAO rules
    • Current EU medical certificate of the relevant class
    • German radiotelephony certificate or authorization card for the recognition of aircraft radio certificates
    • For motor-powered aircraft ICAO language level German or English (min. 4)
    • Extract from the driving aptitude register
    • For engine-powered aircraft, a valid background check in accordance with Section 7 of the Aviation Security Act
    • For non-powered aircraft, a certificate of good conduct document type - O -
    • Verification of the validity of the license by the issuing authority in German or English
