Youth falconry hunting license New issue of annual hunting license

If the validity of your youth falconry hunting license expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it extended.

If you would like to hunt in Germany but are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth falconry hunting license in your name. If you already have an annual hunting license but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The youth falconry hunting license is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. A hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03. of each year.

• The youth hunting license only entitles you to hunt when accompanied by a person with parental authority or a supervisor appointed in writing by the person with parental authority. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
