Working from home with special hazard protection regulations Acceptance

If you, as a company, provide work from home in accordance with the Home Work Act (HAG), which is subject to special health and safety regulations, you must notify the Darmstadt Regional Council and the police authority (usually the public order office).

If you carry out work from home in accordance with the Home Work Act (HAG) and special regulations (e.g. GefStoffV, BioStoffV, etc.) apply to the implementation of hazard protection, you are obliged to report this. The notification must be made to two authorities: the Darmstadt Regional Council and the responsible police authority. The responsible police authority is usually the public order office of the responsible local authority.

The following data on employees working from home must be provided

• first name and surname
• the address of the place of work

Department VI of the Darmstadt Regional Council is responsible for occupational health and safety.

An informal notification is sufficient.
