Repair notification Receipt

If you have carried out a repair as a repairer, you must inform the competent authority immediately. You can find out more here.

As a repairer, you must affix the repairer mark to measuring instruments whose calibration period had not ended before the repair.

As a repairer, you are also obliged to inform the local verification authority immediately in writing or electronically of any repairs carried out.

A period of 7 days is regarded as immediate for the transmission of repair notifications. However, in the case of measuring devices for determining speed and distance, the repair notification must be received by the local competent verification authority within 2 working days.

The repair notification must be issued immediately after the repair has been carried out.
