Notification of appointment, change of duties or powers or resignation of a radiation protection officer
As the person responsible for radiation protection, you must inform the authority if you appoint or dismiss radiation protection officers. This also applies if the area of responsibility or the powers of radiation protection officers change.
Description
If you, as the person responsible for radiation protection, appoint a person as a radiation protection officer, you must inform the competent authority for radiation protection immediately.
In the appointment, you must also specify the tasks and powers of the radiation protection officer as well as the internal decision-making area.
You must also inform the competent authority
- if the radiation protection officer leaves the company or if you discharge him/her and appoint another person as radiation protection officer
- if the duties or powers of the radiation protection officer change.
