"Volunteering digitized!" funding program

You can apply for funding for digitization measures of non-profit institutions (such as associations and/or gGmbHs). The focus must be on digitization in the area of internal administration / the internal structure of the organization.

You can apply for funding if you want to implement digitization projects within non-profit organizations.
The projects must primarily contribute to the optimization of internal processes, communication with volunteers or members or the recruitment of new members. Funding is provided for the purchase of hardware and/or software and/or services in connection with the digitalization project. Funding is approved by the Hessian State Chancellery - Department of the Minister for Digital Strategy and Development within the framework of the available budget funds.

• Application procedure:
  • None. Offers and/or cost estimates can be attached.
• Before disbursement of the funding:
  • Proof of non-profit status (notice of exemption from the tax office)
  • Proof of bank details (e.g. a letter from the bank with the account details and the name of the institution)
• After completion of the project:
  • Submit proof of use with all receipts (form will be made available to you)
    

• You must be a non-profit association, its Hessian umbrella organization or a non-profit legal entity under private law.
• You must be based in Hesse or implement the project in Hesse.
• You must not have started the project yet.
• They must implement the project in the current year.
• They must contribute at least 10% of their own funds.

Action before the administrative court

• You submit the application for the volunteering funding program in digital form via the link below
• The application will be reviewed and a decision on funding will be made within the limits of available budget funds
• In cases of doubt, a jury will decide on your application
• If your funding is approved, the Hessian State Chancellery - Department of the Minister for Digital Strategy and Development will issue a corresponding grant notification
• The project must be implemented in the year in which the funding is approved
• The funding approved in the notification must be drawn down by 10.12.
• Proof of use must be provided by 30.06. of the following year
• The proof of use is checked by the Hessian State Chancellery - Department of the Minister for Digital Strategy and Development
