If you are transporting more than 60 liters of a non-bottled wine product, you need a wine accompanying document for each transport.
Description
You require a wine accompanying document for the transportation of wine products that have not been bottled.
Wine products are
- Grapes,
- grape must,
- mash,
- wine,
- sparkling wine,
- sparkling wine,
- liqueur wine and
- fortified wine.
The accompanying document entitles you to transport the wine products from the producer to the further processing or recovery point, for example to a winery. You are obliged to use an accompanying document.

- A company account based on Elster ("My company account")
- Applicants must be entered internally in a market participant list with their address and a company number. This was done automatically as of 09-2022.

The digital application procedure will be made available in the course of 2023 and will guide you through the process of applying for wine accompanying documents
Deadlines
Wine accompanying documents must be drawn up immediately before the start of transportation. There is no deadline.
Processing time
Once the digital wine accompanying document has been signed, it is immediately valid. There is no processing time.
