Notes on supplementary income support for young farmers: The young farmer must establish himself on a farm for the first time and have effective long-term control over the holding. At the time of the initial application, the young farmer must not have reached the age of 40. In addition, appropriate agricultural qualifications must be proven. The examination of whether the conditions are fulfilled must be carried out on a case-by-case basis.

- The application for direct payments within the framework of the joint application takes place annually until 15.05 of the current year exclusively via an online application (agrarportalhessen.de)
