Apply for EU direct payments under the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)

Farmers receive direct payments for the management of agricultural land, the provision of specific environmental services or the keeping of ewes, goats or cows.

This grant shall support the management of agricultural land or the rearing of ewes, goats or cows under direct payments as basic income support, complementary income support for young farmers, complementary redistributive income support, coupled income support and eco-schemes.

Notes on supplementary income support for young farmers: The young farmer must establish himself on a farm for the first time and have effective long-term control over the holding. At the time of the initial application, the young farmer must not have reached the age of 40. In addition, appropriate agricultural qualifications must be proven. The examination of whether the conditions are fulfilled must be carried out on a case-by-case basis.

• The application for direct payments within the framework of the joint application takes place annually until 15.05 of the current year exclusively via an online application (agrarportalhessen.de)
• Depending on the other requirements, the application for the individual components such as basic income support, supplementary redistributive income support, supplementary income support for young farmers and organic regulations takes place within the framework of the joint application.

The application deadline always ends on 15.05 of the year.

There is no legal processing period for the funding programme.

There are no costs.

It is a non-repayable grant. The information contained in your application, the provisions on which the approval is based and the circumstances specified in § 4 SubvG, which are decisive for the approval, granting, recovery and continuation or retention of this donation, are facts relevant to subsidies within the meaning of § 264 of the Criminal Code.
