The program promotes forestry projects in private and municipal forests.

Forestry projects in private and communal forests are funded as part of the forest development program.

The cooperation partners are Hessian Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection; Darmstadt Regional Council, V52-Forsten, Hilperstraße 31, 64295 Darmstadt as well as the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Responsibility lies with the Darmstadt Regional Council - Department V 52 Forests.

The following support measures have two application deadlines per year, always on March 1 and September 1:

• D1 - Road construction

There is no statutory processing deadline for the funding program.
