- Description of the intended areas of application of fumigation
- Specification of the active substances to be used
- Proof that the company's spatial and safety-related equipment is sufficient and suitable for the planned fumigations
- Copy of the certificates of competence of the competent persons
- Copy of the certificates of competence of the license holders
- Police clearance certificate of document type O
- Details of the number of employees who are to carry out the fumigation, details of the number of competent persons and holders of the certificate of competence
Depending on the company-related permit in accordance with TRGS 512; TRGS 513 or TRGS 522, further documents are required which result from the requirements of the corresponding TRGS.

The application can be made informally.
Prerequisites
The competent authority will check your documents and give you feedback on whether they are complete or which documents still need to be submitted for the decision.
The content of the documents also depends on the permit you wish to obtain.
- Company-related permit to carry out fumigation (TRGS 512)
- Company-related permit to carry out fumigation with ethylene oxide or formaldehyde in sterilization and disinfection facilities (TRGS 513).
- Company-related permit to carry out room disinfection with formaldehyde (TRGS 522)
The following documents must be submitted with the application:
- Certificate of competence holder in sufficient number,
- Proof of expertise,
- reliability, police clearance certificate according to document type O,
- the personnel and safety equipment required for the activities,
- that compliance with the relevant occupational health and safety regulations is guaranteed,
- Proof of the employer's reliability.

The legal remedy will be communicated in the notification.
Procedure
You must apply for a permit to carry out fumigation by mail or post to the competent authority.
You submit the documents required for the permit you are applying for to the competent authority.
The content of the documents depends on the permit you wish to obtain.

There are no legal deadlines to consider.
However, the permit is a prerequisite for carrying out fumigation in principle.
