You can no longer pay the KiTa costs for your child? Check whether you are eligible for a reduction in the KiTa costs.

You may have to pay money for your child's visit to the daycare center. The amount of the financial burden is calculated according to your income. The burden may only be made within the framework of the so-called "reasonable burden".

If your income decreases significantly, you can apply for a reduction or exemption from your financial burden.

Upon request, the costs can be reduced, waived or covered by the public youth welfare agency.

The local public youth welfare agency (Jugendamt) of the district or the independent city in whose area the child has his habitual residence.

• Your child attends a daycare center.
• The financial burden is not reasonable for you and the child.
