Senior Citizens' Pass

The Senior Citizens' Pass is intended to make it easier for older people to maintain contact with their peers and to participate in social life.

Some municipalities offer a senior citizens' pass for senior citizens and early retirees.

With the Senior Pass, there is, for example, the opportunity to visit museums or exhibitions free of charge or at a reduced price as well as to participate in lectures, training courses, excursions or various other activities.

The aim of the Senior Citizens' Pass is to facilitate or enable lower-income older people in particular to maintain contact with their peers and to actively participate in social life.

As a rule, the Senior Citizens' Pass must be reapplied for annually. The issuance is mostly income-dependent.
